I've really been slaggin on the blogging the last couple weeks, things have been pretty busy with the who Mahalo Answers launch, and the holidays. But I have gotten back into the Today in History groove and will be adding the most popular Question to the "Top Social Stories" section on the TiH pages. Here is December 26.

The other videos I found for Historical events from this day, were the 2004 Tsunami... Cept for the predictable music, this clip seems to be the best mashup of events from that day that I could find. Sucks because way back in the day there was a full length documentary about it, seems to be done now.

Here was a post I wanted to do last week, but with the whole "moving to a new city" ordeal it had to be moved back a little. This is a collection of how some prominent people reacted to the Obama right after it happened, enjoy!

First, the Young Turks is what I was watching, so this is what I saw, either way this is a real time reaction.

Finally the panel, today we have John Meacham who is the editor of Newsweek Magazine, Kelso from "That 70's Show" aka Ashton Kutcher, and Republican congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. They talk about the collapse and division of the Republican Party. However Ros-Lehtinen argues that John McCain actually ran a good campaign. Also Maher touches on the Bailout and when he mentions Reuben Jeffery III, he is referring to this article written by Naomi Klein in the Rolling Stone.


Gun Sales are up thanks to Barack winning the presidency, check out this quote from the Toronto Star.

I just found out that the Great Bill Maher will be on TDS Tomorrow to talk about his upcoming film Religulous, which is great news. I can't remember when Bill Maher had previously been on TDS, I don't remember ever seeing Stewart and Maher together before. I did a search and found only one interview dating back to 1999.
